Product Details
Atom Arc 8018-CM stick electrodes are built for SMAW welding on chromium-molybdenum steels commonly used in power piping and boiler work. This 3/32 in x 14 in low alloy electrode package is supplied in a 50 lb hermetically sealed can to help protect the product on demanding jobsites. The low hydrogen iron powder coating is designed to resist moisture pickup after opening for added reliability in humid conditions. It is suited for welding plates, pipes, tubes, castings, and forgings in multiple positions.
- E8018-CM low alloy stick electrode designed for welding 1/2% Cr – 1/2% Mo, 1% Cr – 1/2% Mo, and 1-1/4% Cr – 1/2% Mo steels
- Low hydrogen iron powder coating helps support dependable weld performance on critical power piping and boiler applications
- Moisture-resistant flux coating is engineered to resist moisture pickup in opened containers for improved reliability in humid environments
- 3/32 in diameter x 14 in length electrode for SMAW applications with AC/DC+ current compatibility
- Packaged in a 50 lb hermetically sealed can for protected storage and shop or field use
