The 3M Scotchrap 50 is a premium-grade, all-weather PVC corrosion protection tape built for wrapping metal piping systems, conduits, and fittings both above and below ground. Its high-tack pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive delivers outstanding conformability and adhesion across an operating temperature range of -55 to 176°F, making it reliable in demanding industrial and outdoor environments. The durable black PVC backing resists impact, abrasion, punctures, UV exposure, corrosive saltwater, soil acids, alkalis, and common chemicals for long-lasting corrosion defense. It also provides electrical insulating properties and is RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant, meeting ASTM D1000, D3833, and D570 standards.
