The Ergodyne N-Ferno 6882 FR Winter Hard Hat Liner is a shoulder-length, 2-layer thermal liner built for workers in cold, hazardous environments who need both warmth and flame-resistant protection. The outer shell and lining are constructed from a 60% modacrylic / 40% cotton blend, meeting ASTM F1506 performance specifications and classified CAT 2 per NFPA 70E with an ATPV arc flash rating of 20 cal/cm2. Four evenly spaced hook-and-loop straps on the exterior attach securely to any hard hat or helmet suspension, while an elastic gather at the forehead seals body heat in and blocks cold air out. Interior pockets at the ears are sized to hold standard hand warmers (sold separately), and the liner is compatible with N-Ferno 6870, 6872, and 6874 mouthpieces for optional full-face coverage on the toughest jobsites.
