The MSA V-Gard Shade 5 Polycarbonate Visor is built for welding, cutting, and brazing applications demanding reliable defense against impact, infrared radiation, and weld spatter. Its thick, molded polycarbonate construction resists pitting and warping under elevated temperatures, making it well-suited for autogenous welding, metal pouring, gas soldering, and light cutting or brazing. The visor integrates directly with the V-Gard accessory system, attaching to V-Gard Frames and Headgear while accommodating helmet-mounted ear muffs for combined protection. Compliant with ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 and ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014, it is sold in a convenient 5-per-case quantity for jobsite efficiency.
