316L stainless TIG rod built for GTAW welding of austenitic stainless alloys in corrosive service environments. This low carbon filler metal helps reduce the risk of intergranular corrosion while delivering strong, clean welds on 18% Cr – 8% Ni and 18% Cr – 10% Ni – 3% Mo base materials. It is a solid choice for fabrication work in chemical processing, food processing, shipbuilding, and architectural stainless applications. Packaged in an 11 lb box for shop and field use.
