The Hougen RotaLoc Plus Annular Cutter (17836) is purpose-built for professionals who need fast, clean 1-1/8 in holes in structural steel and heavy metal fabrications. Machined from hardened M42 High-Speed Steel, this cutter delivers long tool life and consistent performance on materials up to 350 BHN. The tool-less 5/8 in bayonet-style RotaLoc Plus shank mounts directly to Hougen HMD130 and HMD150 magnetic drills, allowing cutter swaps in seconds without additional hardware. Stack-Cut tooth geometry lets you drill through multiple stacked plates in a single pass, saving time on high-volume fabrication jobs in transportation, construction, and heavy equipment manufacturing. Pilot pin (17810) is sold separately.
