Atom Arc 8018-CM is a low alloy stick electrode designed for SMAW welding of chrome-moly steels used in demanding power piping and boiler applications. This 1/8 in x 14 in electrode is suited for fabricating plates, pipes, tubes, castings, and forgings. Its low hydrogen iron powder coating helps resist moisture pickup for more reliable performance in humid jobsite conditions. A 50 lb pack makes it a practical choice for production and maintenance welding crews.
- Designed for welding 1/2% Cr – 1/2% Mo, 1% Cr – 1/2% Mo, and 1-1/4% Cr – 1/2% Mo steels
