The PGI Double-Ply Para-Tek FR Hood delivers serious thermal protection for structural and proximity fire fighting operations. Built from Para-Tek FR Tri-Blend fabric in a double-layer configuration, it covers the neck, upper chest, and top of the shoulder blades with approximately 18¼” of coverage at both front and back. The ½” wide elastic face opening stretches to a full 17” for a snug, reliable fit around SCBA masks, while the 10½” bib ensures proper overlap with turnout gear. Flat-stitched seams eliminate skin irritation and bunching during extended use, and a side notch keeps the bib lying flat under gear. UL Classified to NFPA 1971 for both Structural and Proximity Fire Fighting.
