Product Details
The Tempil Tempilstik 225°F Temperature Indicator Stick is a precision-engineered, calibration-free solution for pre-heating, interpass, and post-weld heat treating temperature verification. The stick instantly melts at the designated 225°F (107°C) rating, delivering immediate visual confirmation without thermometers or gauges on the job. Accurate to within +/-1% of rated Fahrenheit temperature, it complies with preheat requirements of AWS D1.1, ASME Code Sec. I, III and VIII, and ANSI/ASME Code B31.1 and B31.3. Each stick is imprinted with part number, temperature, and lot code across its entire length for full traceability, and its lead-free, sulfur-free, and halogen-free formulation makes it safe for use on aluminum, ceramic, glass, iron, plastic, and stainless steel surfaces.
