The Eagle U226S is a 2.5-gallon Type II safety can built for the safe storage and dispensing of gasoline and other flammable liquids on demanding job sites. Constructed from 24-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel with a durable baked-on red powder coat finish, it features two dedicated openings: a pressure-relief spring-closing lid for filling and an actuated pour valve with a 7/8” flexible metal spout for precise, controlled dispensing. Non-sparking brass flame arresters in both openings guard against flashback ignition, while the double interlock no-weld bottom seam delivers leak-proof performance. FM, UL, and ULC approved, and fully compliant with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.106, 1925.152, and NFPA Code 30.
